The Lawrence Welk Show on LPB has been supported by Shreveport-based Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company and Rose-Neath Funeral Homes for 43 years. According to Margaret Shehee, president of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home and vice president and Secretary/Treasurer of Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company, her parents loved The Lawrence Welk Show.
"I honestly think my mom would come and get me if I let our Lawrence Welk sponsorship lapse," she said. "I remember the absolute joy my parents got from tuning in each Saturday and I want to always honor that."
