The monthly Zydeco Capital Jam at the Tourist Commission Visitor Center, lets fans continue Chenier’s legacy and the fun by catching local Zydeco musicians every second Saturday at 1:00p.m. The annual Courir de Mardi Gras and Chicken Chase, is set for February 17th and wraps six weeks of carnival activities that are Cajun and Creole style.
