Vermilion Parish, known as the self-proclaimed "Most Cajun Place on Earth," offers a vibrant look at Cajun culture shaped by food, faith, and festival. The episode visits Abbeville for the Giant Omelette Festival, heads to crawfish ponds near Kaplan, and captures live swamp-pop music before discovering a hidden countryside grotto. Vermilion Premiere Event
What a wonderful kickoff for LA64 in Vermilion Parish. LPB was proud to host an advance screening of the very first episode of our new statewide travel series on January 30 at the Vermilion Parish Library in Abbeville.
Thank you to the Vermilion Parish Library and to everyone who joined us for this special night. Your enthusiasm helped make the premiere a memorable start to LA64’s journey across Louisiana.
