
College Football Wraps Up with a Special Edition of Game Notes

(Louisiana Statewide - December 15, 2025) – From bowl matchups featuring Louisiana programs to conversations with college football coaches across the state, Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) presents GAME NOTES – 2025 SPECIAL WRAP-UP EDITION, airing Friday, December 19 at 8:00 p.m. on LPB’s statewide network. The one-hour special will also be available for on-demand streaming at lpb.org/gamenotes.
The special features season recaps and forward-looking discussion with Northwestern State University Head Coach Blaine McCorkle, Nicholls State University Head Coach Tommy Rybacki, Southeastern Louisiana University Head Coach Frank Scelfo, University of Louisiana Head Coach Michael Desormeaux, and University of Louisiana at Monroe Head Coach Bryant Vincent.
The program also includes conversations with outgoing Tulane University Head Coach Jon Sumrall, as he departs for Florida, along with new Tulane Head Coach Will Hall, offering perspective on the program’s transition.
Viewers will hear comments from new Louisiana State University Head Coach Lane Kiffin from his introductory press conference, along with insight from Louisiana State Interim Head Coach Frank Wilson as the Tigers prepare for the Houston Bowl. The special also features remarks from new Southern Head Coach Marshall Faulk.
Additional coverage includes Louisiana Tech University Head Coach Sonny Cumbie discussing the Bulldogs’ upcoming Independence Bowl appearance, along with highlights from the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns’ 68 Ventures Bowl matchup against Delaware.
GAME NOTES is LPB’s original sports series spotlighting 11 college football programs across six conferences, delivering statewide coverage throughout the season.
