Skip Bertman: 1938 - 2026

Skip Bertman’s impact on LSU, Louisiana, and for college baseball is incredible. As a coach, he built the Tigers into the premier program in all of college baseball, winning five national titles and 11 College World Series appearances. When he was done coaching, Bertman became LSU’s athletic director and hired four coaches who went on to win national titles. His community impact was felt by thousands through his speaking engagements and community involvement.
