(LOUISIANA STATEWIDE – August 25, 2026) – Louisiana college football fans can catch highlights and analysis of their favorite teams, no matter who they root for or where they live. The weekly sports series GAME NOTES and POST GAME NOTES return for Season 2 on Louisiana Public Broadcasting(LPB) beginning Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 AM.

From historic powerhouses to rising programs, the two series deliver coverage of college football teams from across Louisiana, representing six conferences and every corner of the state. Featured programs include Grambling State University, Louisiana Tech University, Louisiana State University, McNeese State University, Nicholls State University, Northwestern State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Southern University and A&M College, Tulane University, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, and University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Veteran sportscaster Victor Howell returns as host. “Football connects families, friends, and alumni across our state and beyond. GAME NOTES gets fans ready for the weekend, while POST GAME NOTES brings us back together to look at what happened, what surprised us, and what it means for the season ahead.
