The Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) coordinates emergency prevention, preparation, response and recovery operations responding to man-made and natural disasters that threaten Louisiana.

Get a Game Plan is a program from the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) that helps Louisiana residents prepare for emergencies. The program includes an app, a website, and a podcast.

Emergency.la.gov is an information portal that provides disaster response and recovery information during an active emergency. The portal is maintained by the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP).

Louisiana 211

211 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects callers to information about critical health and human services available in their community. During an active disaster, call 211 for shelter information.

ready.gov

Ready.gov, maintained by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, empowers Americans to prepare for, respond to and mitigate emergencies. The goal is to promote preparedness through public involvement.

Recovery Assistance

The NHC vision is to be America's calm, clear, and trusted voice in the eye of the storm and, with its partners, enable communities to be safe from tropical weather threats.

Virtual Louisiana serves as a common operational picture for the Louisiana emergency response community. This dashboard displays the base reflectivity and weather alerts from the National Weather Service.
