Now an established part of newly promoted DI Tanika Malik’s crime-solving gang, retired archaeologist Judith Potts, dog walker Suzie Harris, and vicar’s wife Becks Starling are back and bringing their unconventional methods to a string of high-profile murders. From the sudden death of the town’s beloved mayor—the nicest man in Marlow—to a celebrity chef found dead at the launch of his cookbook with half the town in attendance, the team will be working under the watchful eye of the Marlow community. They’ll also be called to action at a university reunion in an eerie manor house where, in a surprising twist, Becks finds herself among the suspects. Could this case threaten our amateur sleuths’ roles as civilian advisors?

BONUS CLUE: This mystery has already been solved! There will be a fourth season - an adaptation of Robert Thorogood's novel, Murder on the Marlow Belle

MARBLE HALL MURDERS ON MASTERPIECE
Sunday 8:00pm
Binge with LPB PASSPORT

A continuation of Anthony Horowitz's "mystery-within-a-mystery" format, we find Editor Susan Ryeland (Lesley Manville) is hired to work on a continuation novel of the Atticus Pünd (Tim McMullan) series, written by a troubled young author. When the job leads Susan into another murder case, she unexpectedly finds herself a suspect. In the world of the novel, Atticus Pünd is visiting the Isle of Corfu when he becomes embroiled in the murder of Lady Margaret Chalfont, whose family he investigates with the assistance of a Greek detective. A sad note for fans; this is the third and final installment of the Susan Ryeland mystery series.

BONUS CLUE:You don’t need to have watched Magpie Murders or Moonflower Murders before watching Marble Hall Murders, but with LPB PASSPORT, you can binge both right now.

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE: VICTORY IN THE PACIFIC
Tuesday 8:00pm

On the eve of the anniversary marking the end of World War II, this two-hour program examines the final year of World War II in the Pacific, including the rationale for using the atomic bomb, and features the first-hand recollections of both American and Japanese civilians and soldiers -- even a kamikaze pilot who survived his failed mission. "In the annals of warfare, the final year of the war in the Pacific stands alone," says documentary producer Austin Hoyt. "It would be as brutal as war gets." Victory in the Pacific traces that fateful year, from the American capture of the Mariana Islands in the Central Pacific in July 1944 to the surrender broadcast of Emperor Hirohito in August 1945.

LOUISIANA: THE STATE WE'RE IN
Friday 7:00pm  |  Sunday 5:00pm

SpaceX is setting its sights on Louisiana, with plans that could put the state at the center of the next chapter of America’s space race. The company will build a $100 billion facility in coastal Vermilion Parish dubbed "Starbase, Louisiana".

SpaceX promises state-of-the-art launch facilities and thousands of high-paying jobs; but locals and environmental groups are concerned about how rocket launches may impact Louisiana's fragile coastline and its impact on wildlife refuges in the area.

Christina Jensen heads to Vermilion Parish for a look at the benefits and the concerns.
