There’s no place quite like Louisiana. The food, music, scenery, cultures, and traditions are just a few of the things that make our state such a treasure, not only to those of us lucky enough to call it home, but to the world. That’s why sharing the story of Louisiana is so important to LPB.
Over the past four decades, LPB has connected the citizens of Louisiana by producing programs and documentaries that showcase our unique history, people, places and events. Louisiana: A History; Attakapas: The Cajun Story; and Atchafalaya Houseboat have been just some of your favorites. To ensure LPB’s continued legacy as Louisiana’s Storyteller, Friends of LPB announces the launch of a fund that will help make many more programs like these possible for generations to come.
HELP LPB BEGIN A NEW CHAPTER
The Louisiana Production Fund was started with a very generous gift from LPB members Frank and Kathy McArthur. The McArthurs wanted to establish the fund as a way to honor retired LPB President Beth Courtney and her dedication to sharing the uniqueness of Louisiana with the rest of the world.
As LPB begins an exciting new chapter, the support of members like you is more important than ever. Consider becoming a founding member and helping us continue sharing the stories of this unique place that we call home with the rest of the world.
