ANOTHER SUMMER IN GRANTCHESTER COMES TO AN END

GRANTCHESTER ON MASTERPIECE
Season Finale
Sunday 8:00pm
Stream all seasons & all episodes with LPB PASSPORT
If there is a common theme that seems to be running through this season of Grantchester - beyond murders to solve, of course - it would be family dynamics. Both Reverend Alphy and Geordie Keating are struggling to understand familial relationships whether they be between father and son or son and mother. In the season finale, will bridges be built...or burned?
Meanwhile, Alphy and Geordie keep an eye on rising tensions as a controversial figure is invited to speak at the university. When a murder is committed, however, they disagree on how to approach the case.
A LOOK AHEAD TO THE FINAL SEASON OF GRANTCHESTER

Earlier this summer, MASTERPIECE announced that the upcoming Season 11 would be the final season of the long-time PBS fan favorite. The series was first broadcast in 2015 on MASTERPIECE. Here's what we know about that final season so far. POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!
In Grantchester Season 11, it’s the heady summer of ’63, and Alphy is learning more about his past. He comes to realize that there is a whole other life he could have led, making him question who he is and what he believes in. He’s also continuing to get to know Meg, the Bishop’s daughter…
Geordie, for once, is positively brimming with bonhomie! He’s learned to weather the storms of life and is enjoying a time of relative peace. Cathy’s happy now that CeCe’s Fashion Boutique is a success, and the kids are old enough to look after themselves! But then, out of the blue, the Chief Superintendent comes to Geordie with a beguiling offer. It could be a chance for Geordie to finally be in charge, but it could also mean an end of his crime solving days. And his crime solving partnership with Alphy…
During a quiet period at the halfway house, Leonard finds himself with time on his hands, and a chance to take stock of his own life and whether he’s doing enough with it. When one of Daniel’s neighbors becomes ill, Leonard is drawn into helping care for the neighbor’s son Raymond – and discovers a paternal side to himself he never knew he had.
In Season 11 everyone will question the paths they are on, and some huge decisions will be made. This final season will look at family, forgiveness, identity, and faith – big changes are coming to Grantchester…
COBY PUTS A LOUISIANA SPIN ON ANOTHER RECIPE

THE GREAT AMERICAN RECIPE A Test of the Best
Friday 8:00pm
With several top finishes already under his belt, Coby Bailey of Lafayette is starting to believe he just might make it to the finale! Last week, he impressed with his Crawfish Cornbread and Sticky Chicken, a winning combo. But his Bread Pudding with Pineapple Cream Sauce was deemed just a bit too sweet by the judges. Still, it was a lucky week for all, no one was sent home, and Coby lives to cook another day!
Now it’s week four, and the remaining home cooks face two challenges that will push them outside their comfort zones. First, they’ll have to recreate a judge’s signature dish. Then comes the return of the recipe swap, where they’ll put their own spin on each other’s creations!
WHAT'S COBY COOKING!

One of the great things about the PBS cooking competition show THE GREAT AMERICAN RECIPE is they share the recipes the contestants create on the show. This past week Coby were challenged to bake a bread, so what's a Cajun to do? A cornbread, of course!

CRAWFISH CORNBREAD WITH STICKY CHICKEN
They called this the "battle of the cornbreads" but in the end only one was left standing! Coby's Crawfish Cornbread was the judges favorite, striking the perfect balance of comfort and richness.
