For nearly four decades, John Coykendall’s passion has been preserving the farm heritage – the seeds and stories - of a small, farming culture in Southeastern Louisiana and this work is the subject of the documentary from Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Nominated for two 2017 Suncoast Emmy Awards

Tracing Louisiana's Cajun history, beginning with the arrival of French settlers in Nova Scotia in 1604 and including re-creations, vintage clips and vintage stills. Zachary Richard co-produced and narrated this award-winning LPB documentary.
