100 Years – A World of Good
One hundred years ago, doctors in Shreveport built a hospital in the western suburbs of Shreveport at a time when most hospitals were clustered near downtown. That idea of taking healthcare out into the community grew as did the hospital which has become Willis Knighton Health with four suburban hospitals, North, South and Pierremont in Shreveport and Bossier across the river in Bossier City. Add to that its senior living community, The Oaks of Louisiana, with independent, assisted, and skilled nursing, and Willis Knighton has the broadest range of services of any healthcare provider in North Louisiana.
