Newly elected Governor Jeff Landry has made it very clear to legislators his desire to move forward with a constitutional convention, something that hasn’t happened in Louisiana in over 50 years. But what exactly does that mean and what are the risks and rewards? Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) in partnership with the Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) will explore the issue during Louisiana Spotlight Shorts: How to Constitution, premiering Friday, May 24 at 8:00pm on LPB’s statewide network and on WLAE-TV in New Orleans at an airtime to be announced later.
