Jeremy Brewer, LMSW
Bastion Community of Resilience
Jeremy Brewer is a licensed social worker serving as the Program Director for Bastion Community of Resilience since January 2017. Bastion is the nation’s first intentionally designed neighborhood for returning warriors and their families. It is located in New Orleans.
He received his Masters of Social Work with a certificate in Disaster mental Health and Trauma Studies from Tulane University in 2016.
Jeremy is a Marine Corps veteran with two combat tours in Iraq. His recent roles include Veterans Program Coordinator at SBP USA, Program Manager at VetLaunch and Outreach Coordinator for Wounded Warrior Project where he covered Louisiana and Mississippi. He is also an alumni of The Mission Continues Fellowship program and a past commander of the last active VFW Post in New Orleans.
He lives in Belle Chasse, LA with his wife Melissa and three daughters – Lorelei, Addison and Carlyn.
