Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 4 beaten eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup light Karo syrup
- 1 cup pecan halves or pieces
- 1 teaspoon Watkins vanilla flavoring
Directions
Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar and beat until dissolved. Stir in Karo syrup and vanilla flavoring. Add pecans. Mix well and pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving or serve warm with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 6.
