LPB’s 2024 PowerOn Raffle Official Rules:

Prize: 24kW GENERAC Automatic Standby Generator with 200 amp Automatic Transfer Switch (#7210) including standard installation on a home where legally approved. Installation includes 4” Concrete Genpad, generator battery, surge suppressor, all permitting, all gas materials and electrical materials, and gas & electrical labor. Home must be single-dwelling and must be in Louisiana, have legal location for installation and natural gas or propane available. Does not include any charges by utility companies.

By entering the raffle, the entrant agrees to receive periodic newsletter emails from Friends of LPB. Friends of LPB agrees not to sell or share information collected from the entrants to third parties.

All entries must include a valid email address. Friends of LPB is not responsible for any change of email address, email unsubscribed, mailing address or telephone number of an entrant.

Entry purchasers providing the raffle with a valid email address will receive email confirmation. This is the only confirmation that will be provided.

Friends of LPB shall not have any responsibility or liability for failure to provide notice due to a participant’s failure to maintain his or her contact information current or because of unsubscribing from our emails.

1. Entry form must be filled out completely and submitted with raffle ticket payment. No facsimilies of entry forms will be accepted. Additional tickets can be obtained by contacting Friends of LPB.
2. Raffle begins Saturday, June 1, 2024.
3. Entries must be received by Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 11:59pm and the drawing will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024.
4. Winner will be announced on LPB’s website and social media.
5. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
6. Tickets are $20 each, with a discounted rate of six tickets for $100.
7. A maximum of 10,000 tickets will be sold. Bonus tickets not included.
8. No limit of ticket purchases by one person.
9. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash and checks are accepted. Prize will not be awarded, and will be forfeited, if the ticket was issued in exchange for a check returned for “insufficient funds” or for a credit card charge deemed “declined,” “invalid,” or “stolen.”
10. Need not be present to win.
11. Winner must claim prize within 30 days of the drawing: on or before Sunday, November 3, 2024.
12. Winner’s name and prize(s) maybe used in promotional activity conducted by Friends of LPB or the Louisiana Educational Television Authority.
13. The prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash or prize substitutions or exchanges. Taxes required on any prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
14. Friends of LPB is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
15. LPB Board members and their immediate family, as well as employees of LPB and Friends of LPB and their immediate family, will not be eligible to participate in any raffles organized by Friends of LPB.
    *Immediate Family” is defined as the spouse, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This definition also includes individuals for whom an employee is the current legal guardian.
