Craig C. Spohn has worked in the Information Technology field for thirty-nine years and has experience in international, commercial, and federal government markets. In 2007, Craig was named the Executive Director of the Cyber Innovation Center (CIC). The CIC is a public/private initiative with a mission to create a knowledge-based workforce and diversify the region’s economic base. The CIC accomplishes this by promoting research, education, and innovation and fostering collaborative and strategic alliances between government, industry, and academia.

Before serving as Executive Director of the CIC, Craig was with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he served as Vice President for Middle East Business and coordinated SAIC’s Saudi Arabian business as General Manager of the Saudi Joint Venture.

Spohn is chair of the Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission and has membership in the AFCEA; the Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana; FBI Citizens Academy; Louisiana State University at Shreveport Science and Technology Council; Louisiana Tech University Cyber Engineering Advisory Board and others.

Craig is married with three children.
