Agriculture Commissioner Forum

Natasha provides a summary of answers from the Louisiana Agriculture Commissioner Forum at the Press Club Monday. Three of the four candidates participated: incumbent, Mike Strain, a Republican, and two challengers, both Democrats, Marguerite “Margee” Green, of New Orleans, and Charlie Greer, of Natchitoches.

Possible Fees for Solar Panels

Several utility companies are trying to assess fees from those using solar panels. This week a meeting was held to vote on the measure with those speaking for it and against it. Andre’ Moreau investigates.

A New Medical School For Monroe

Andre’ Moreau highlights the nationally recognized singing group, the Foto Sisters. Southern girls at heart, their roots run deep in Clinton, Louisiana. The sisters now spend most of their time in Nashville, Tennessee recording, collaborating, and writing with other musicians. Andre’ learns why they feel it is so important to give back to their hometown community.
