A QUEST TO END VIOLENCE IN LOUISIANA

For 29 consecutive years, Louisiana has had the highest murder rate per capita in America. Natasha Williams talks with a mother grieving the loss of her son after he was shot and killed. She’s calling for an end to violence in the hope of saving other families from the pain she is experiencing.

INNOVATION PARK TURNS 30

Innovation Park at LSU is celebrating 30 years of entrepreneurship in Louisiana. Andre’ Moreau talks with David Winwood, the Park’s new Executive Director about some of the success stories. He also highlights the breakthrough products of Lubricity Labs and talks with founder Dr. Boyce Clark.

INCARCERATED WOMEN OF LOUISIANA

The recent exhibition, Incarcerated Women of Louisiana, at the Newcomb Art Museum on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans featured art inspired by the experiences of women in prison and explored the root causes of female incarceration. Producer Dorothy Kendrick interviews museum director, Monica Ramirez-Montagut, and the formerly incarcerated Syrita Steib-Martin.
