Dwain Jenkins was a quarterback for Lutcher High School from 1993-96 and later became the Bulldogs’ offensive coordinator while serving as an assistant coach from 2000-12. In 2013 he became the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at St. James High. He returned to Lutcher High in 2016 to take the position of Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. He has also been a Middle School Teacher and Baseball Coach.

Lutcher High School’s Football program is one of the best programs in the state. The team has won eight state championships and multiple district championships.

Jenkins is the President of the Louisiana Football Coaches Association and is the Past President of the Louisiana High School Coaches Association.

Jenkins has a B.A. from LSU and a Masters in Sports Administration from Ohio University.
