E. Pete Adams

Louisiana District Attorneys Association

E. Pete Adams currently serves as the Executive Director of the Louisiana District Attorneys Association, a not-for-profit corporation, and as Director of the Louisiana District Attorneys Retirement System.

Pete is a 1974 graduate of LSU Law School. He serves on many State and National boards and commissions. He is a past president of the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators; the Louisiana Society of Association Executives; and the Louisiana Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems. He was inducted into the Louisiana Justice Hall of Fame in 2014.

Pete has represented Louisiana prosecutors in the Legislature since 1975. He has also worked in more than a dozen states as a consultant to non-profit organizations. Pete is also a musician, singer-songwriter.

Pete is married to Dee Jones Adams, Director of the Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center, and has two grown children and nine grandchildren.
