Earmer M. Jackson is a middle school science teacher at Southeast Middle Magnet in East Baton Rouge Parish School System (EBRPSS). She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a master degree from Southern University and A&M College. She is the President of APEL’s EBRPSS chapter. She is a LOSFA On Site School Coordinator charged with exposing students with College and Career choices for their futures. Ms. Jackson received a grant from the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority in conjunction with LSU affording all Southeast Middle students the opportunity to visit LASM and the LSU Center for River Studies. Ms. Jackson is a participant in Project MISE cohort 14. She holds professional memberships in APEL, NSTA, LSTA, LATM, & LACUE. Ms. Jackson has two children, both educated in the EBR public school system. She is a lifelong learner dedicated to educating children to build character and intelligence.
