Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation

Andy Brown is the National Affairs Coordinator and Assistant Commodity Coordinator for the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation.

The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization. The mission of this grassroots non-profit is to connect its farming and ranching members to the issues and policy makers impacting farm and rural life within Louisiana and the nation’s capital.

Andy received his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics and Master’s Degree in Agronomy from Mississippi State University in his hometown of Starkville, Mississippi.

Andy began his Farm Bureau career in 2015 and has held several positions since then. His current role is focused on issues and policies relating to rice, soybeans, feed grains, forestry and honeybees. He also works with Louisiana’s congressional delegation on all agricultural issues, representing more than 137,000 Farm Bureau member families.

Andy is married to Kayla Brown, an interior designer in Baton Rouge. They live with their bird dog, Honey, in Livingston Parish.
