A FAMILIAR NAME; AN ALL-NEW MYSTERY
THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB ON MASTERPIECE
Season Premiere
Sunday 8:00pm
LPB is keeping it all in the family so to speak with this latest offering for MASTERPIECE MYSTERY fans!
This Sunday we premiere the first episode of THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB, based on the book by author Robert Thorogood. This is the first of three of his cozy crime novels set in the small but affluent British town of Marlow. If Thorogood's name sounds familiar it might be because you recognize his name from the credits of another LPB fan favorite - Death in Paradise - a series he created.
In this four-part adaptation, retired archaeologist Judith Potts is minding her own business, just going for a late afternoon swim when the peace of her small town life is shattered by shouts followed by a gunshot! Judith is of course compelled to follow the mystery. She come to rely on the help of two other local women, the unassuming vicar's wife, Becks Starling and empty-nester/dog walker Suzie Harris. Together they work with and sometimes against DS Tanika Malik, who's just taken on the role as Marlow's lead detective.
Members of Friends of LPB can use their LPB PASSPORT benefit to binge all-four episodes starting the night of the broadcast premiere.
