ELECTION NIGHT 2024: PBS & LPB - YOUR TRUSTED SOURCES
PBS NEWS ELECTION 2024
Tuesday 5:00 PM
Louisianans have turned out in record numbers for early voting according to the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office. Now, as election day draws nearer, we wait to hear the results of races with national, statewide and local impact. PBS and LPB will be providing Louisiana with results this Tuesday night, starting with a special early edition of PBS News.
Co-anchored by Amna Nawaz and Geoff Bennett, PBS News coverage will include reporting from both the Harris and Trump campaign headquarters with additional analysis presented from PBS News Hour Capitol Hill.
After Louisiana polls close at 8pm, LPB will provide key race results as soon as they become available. The results will be presented in graphic format as to not interrupt PBS News coverage.
Don't forget!
Tuesday, November 5 is Election Day! Polls will open at 6:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM. For more Louisiana election information and for a look at a sample ballot in your voting district, visit the Secretary of State's Geaux Vote page, an election clearinghouse!
