CELEBRATING ALL THE CREATURES ON "ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL"
ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL: TRICKI & FRIENDS
Sunday 7:00pm
When it comes to the hit PBS series ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, it's hard to beat the scene-stealing beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, but there are plenty of characters that are up for the task! Of course, those characters are the "creatures," and at the top of that list is everyone's favorite pampered Pekingese, Tricki Woo!
In this behind-the-scenes special, we celebrate the animals we love by revisiting the PBS series where they always come first! Perhaps the most endearing charm of this beloved MASTERPIECE series is its ability to show the special bond between humans and animals. Where else would one of the most anticipated wedding ceremony's in recent memory include a Pekingese, a Golden Retriever, and a German Shepherd as guests?
Author and veterinarian James Herriot wrote, “If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.” From Tricki's best moments to the birth of a foal, this special explores why James, Tristan, and Siegfried go to great lengths to care for the animals of the Dales.

TRAVEL WITH A TWIST
BRITAIN BY THE BOOK
Monday 8:00pm
In this funny, revealing and heart-warming travelogue, actor and comedian Mel Giedroyc and "Doc Martin" favorite Martin Clunes, head to the English county of Dorset to explore the spectacular scenery and iconic locations made famous by some of Britain's favorite books and films. The two friends walk in the footsteps of John Fowles' “The French Lieutenant’s Woman,” stoke up the engine on a steam train ride through Enid Blyton (“The Famous Five”) country, and sample Dorset’s finest cider on a farm overlooking magical Corfe Castle. A boat trip to the world-famous Durdle Door on the breathtaking Jurassic coast proves challenging for the sea-sick Mel, despite Martin’s best efforts at distracting her by reading bursts of Thomas Hardy (“Far From the Madding Crowd”). Lastly, they meet, walk and talk with Raynor Winn, author of the best-selling novel “The Salt Path”.
