After four seasons, actor Stuart Martin who played William “The Duke” Wellington has officially departed the show, saying he believes “it was the right decision for the story.” So, what’s a resourceful gal like Eliza Scarlet to do? NEW ADDITIONS AND EXCITING REUNIONS
ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL ON MASTERPIECE
Season 5 Premiere
Sunday 8:00pm
It’s become LPB’s most streamed series and a much-anticipated Sunday night favorite! Louisiana loves All Creatures Great and Small and we’ve got lots of good news to share about the series.
Where we left off. The end of Season 4 saw James Herriot training for missions as an RAF pilot—and going AWOL to visit Helen, arriving at Skeldale House in time to greet their newborn baby, Jim. With the war raging on the continent, James returned to training, and Tristan serving in the Royal Veterinary Corps, leaving us on precarious ground.
Get ready for the Season 5 Premiere! In this first episode, it’s Spring 1941, and with World War II fully underway, we return to Darrowby, where baby Jimmy is keeping everyone at Skeldale House on their toes. Meanwhile, Tristan’s surprise return turns out to be more complicated than Siegfried hoped.
There’s more to come. The series will continue to bring the stories of James Herriot to life as we’ve already received word that Season 6 is in the works!
