A NEW BRIT-COM TO BRIGHTEN THE NIGHT

UP THE WOMEN
New Series Premiere
Saturday 8:00pm

Who knew Edwardian women could be so saucy?

This charming and downright cheeky sitcom follows the efforts of timid yet radical Edwardian matron Margaret as she seeks to bring women’s suffrage to her small village of Banbury. Point of trivia: The phrase “Up the women” is often associated with the British suffragette movement, where “up” is used as a rallying cry, essentially meaning “raise up the women.”
