Transport yourself back to the Yorkshire Dales once again for season 2 of the MASTERPIECE hit, ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL. The acclaimed ensemble includes Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Callum Woodhouse, Anna Madeley and Rachel Shenton, all returning for more heartwarming and humorous fun set among some of the most beautiful scenery you'll see on PBS! Matthew Lewis will also return as jilted aristocrat Hugh Hulton. Actress Patricia Hodge (Miranda, A Very English Scandal) will step into the role of the eccentric, larger than life Mrs. Pumphrey, with the lovably spoiled Pekingese Tricki Woo right by her side.

All together, they'll bring us 7-all new episodes to get help get 2022 off to a heartfelt start. After the events of the season 1 finale, there are many questions to be answered! Will James decide to call the Dales home? Will he and Helen find their way together? And can Siegfried and Tristan manage to work together without complete and utter disaster?

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM EPISODE 1

As season two opens, James returns from Glasgow where he has been visiting his parents for Easter. While there, he is offered a job at a modern local veterinary practice and must decide between staying home in Glasgow with his elderly parents or returning to his new life in Glasgow.

The new season features ten new episodes showcasing guests who have excelled in a wide array of fields and include Terry Crews, Tony Danza, Kathryn Hahn, John Leguizamo, Leslie Odom, Jr., Regina King, Lee Daniels, Erin Burnett, Mario Lopez, David Chang, and Anita Hill. “Each of us is complicated in our own unique ways, but each of us descends from ancestors who have a story to tell and the goal of FINDING YOUR ROOTS is to allow them, at long last, to tell those stories,” says host and executive producer Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

Start with back-to-back episodes
LPB premieres this new season with two all new episodes beginning at 7pm. In "Hidden in the Genes" - Henry Louis Gates, Jr. helps Rebecca Hall and Lee Daniels solve family mysteries through DNA detective work, illuminating both history and their own identities. Then, at 8pm, "Children of Exile" traces the ancestral journeys of David Chang and Raul Esparza, whose families fled their homelands, leading them to find lost parts of themselves along the way.

Meanwhile, Lady Dedlock finds her world turned upside down when her husband's lawyer Tulkinghorn gets wind of a dark secret in her past, and begins a deadly game of cat and mouse.
