DIVERSE FILMS THROUGH A LOUISIANA LENS

HINDSIGHT
Now Streaming
www.lpb.org/hindsight

Films that explore the tumultuous events of 2020 told by filmmakers with unique perspectives. The Hindsight Project is a fascinating new initiative that LPB is proud to be participating in. The goal was to help support BIPOC filmmakers from the American South and Puerto Rico as they worked to create short films looking at how their communities navigated the unprecedented events of 2020. Two Louisiana-based filmmakers were chosen to be a part of the project, and LPB helped provide support, guidance...and now awareness!

Go to www.lpb.org/hindsight to watch the Louisiana-based film shorts from Zac Manuel and Kiyoko McCrae, as well as the other four films that explore such diverse topics as an interfaith choir, immigration and isolation in Arkansas, and food insecurity in Puerto Rico.

Much thanks to our partners, Firelight MediaReel South, the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), and public media stations across the South!
