LPB PRESENTS: "ARETHA FRANKLIN REMEMBERED"

You've heard the songs.  You know the voice! But Saturday at 7pm on LPB you have a chance to see and hear a side of Aretha Franklin that you may never have seen nor heard before.

LPB is proud to present ARETHA FRANKLIN REMEMBERED. Join us as we celebrate the legendary Queen of Soul by sharing her greatest hits from television appearances spanning the 1960s-2000s...many of them never seen before in the U.S. She was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She sold over 75 million records worldwide, but more importantly she defined a generation with songs like "Respect" and "Like A Natural Woman." ARETHA FRANKLIN REMEMBERED is more than just a couple of hours of good music...it's a lesson in music history that generations will appreciate.

WHEN TO WATCH: "ARETHA FRANKLIN REMEMBERED", SATURDAY, NOV. 30 @ 7PM ON LPB-HD.

TWO AMERICAN TRADITIONS: THANKSGIVING AND "LITTLE WOMEN"

Louisa May Alcott gets the Masterpiece treatment as her timeless novel LITTLE WOMEN is brought to life and LPB brings you all three episodes in the series, back-to-back, on Thanksgiving night. The entire family will enjoy this beautiful adaption of Alcott's coming-of-age story featuring the March family of Concord, Massachusetts during the Civil War.

Emily Watson heads the cast along with Michael Gambon and Angela Lansbury, but it's Maya Hawke who plays young Jo March that the younger generation will recognize from Stranger Things fame. It all comes together for a decidedly American tale, on a decidedly American holiday.

WATCH "LITTLE WOMEN" THURSDAY, NOV. 28 @ 7PM ON LPB-HD.
