The 50th Anniversary of Woodstock & more!

(Tuesday at 9PM, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the concert that became a touchstone for a generation.)

Tonight at 7PM on Antiques Roadshow: Vintage Memphis, marvel at magnificent Memphis treasures, including an Elvis Presley outfit, and learn which find has an updated appraisal of $100,000! At 8PM on Antiques Roadshow: Vintage Madison, highlights include an 1875 Norwegian fiddle. At 9PM on Atlantis, the romance between Hercules and Medusa does not last long as Medusa is abruptly kidnapped. At 10PM on New Tricks, when blood-stained clothes are uncovered in a London forest, UCOS find themselves trying to solve what seems to have been the perfect vanishing act.

Tuesday at 7PM on Great Performances: Joni 75: A Birthday Celebration, James Taylor, Graham Nash, Chaka Khan, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Seal, and Rufus Wainwright perform at a concert celebrating Joni Mitchell's 75th birthday. At 9PM, Woodstock: Three Days that Defined a Generation: American Experience brings the three-day concert to life through the voices of those who were present at what became the defining moment of the counterculture revolution. At 11PM on Janis Joplin: American Masters, see rare footage in the first in-depth celebration of the iconic rock singer.

Exploring Saturn, To Catch a Comet & New Mysteries

(Is it possible to land on a comet? Find out Wednesday at 9PM!)

Wednesday at 7PM on Ancient Skies: Our Place in the Universe, scientific pioneers reshape the solar system to better understand a growing universe. At 8PM on NOVA: The Planets: Saturn, NASA's Cassini explores Saturn for 13 years, looping through its icy rings and flying by its moons, but when it finds the ingredients for life on the moon Enceladus, a bittersweet decision is made. Then at 9PM see To Catch a Comet. On November 11, billions of kilometers from Earth, a spacecraft orbiter and lander will do what no other has dared to attempt: land on the volatile surface of a comet as it zooms around the sun at 67,000 km/hr. That's followed by Secrets of the Dead: Galileo's Moon at 10PM. 

Thursday at 7PM on Father Brown, tensions rise to deadly levels when a performance troupe of anarchists arrive in Kembleford. At 8PM on Arthur & George on Masterpiece, Sir Arthur and Woodie get a shock after they order their driver to "follow that carriage!" At 9PM on Shakespeare & Hathaway-Private Investigators, a lawyer seeks out Frank and Lu to help a client with a difference - he's got four paws and is worth his weight in gold. Then at 10PM, see an encore of Season 4 Part 4 of Grantchester, as Geordie is surprised to discover Will grew up in a house filled with secrets and lies.

Friday at 7PM, watch the week's top news on Louisiana: The State We're In. At 8PM on Samantha Brown's Places To Love, Sam visits Lafayette and Cajun Country! At 8:30PM on Art Rocks!meet a Baton Rouge artist who went from being a Broadway actress to becoming a sought-after jewelry designer. At 9PM on Great Performances: Vienna Philharmonic Summer Concert 2019, enjoy this world-renowned annual concert from Schonbrunn Palace with performances including Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever.” Then at 10:30PM on Great Performances: Andrea Bocelli @ 60, an international celebration of Bocelli’s 60th Birthday spectacularly staged at Italy’s Arena di Verona.

Saturday beginning at 7PM, see your favorite British comedies. At 9PM on The Child in Time on Masterpiece, a moment of distraction triggers a crisis in the lives of a happy British couple, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kelly Macdonald. At 10:30PM on Front and Center, alt-pop trio lovelytheband takes the stage. Then, groove to a full hour with hip-hop superstars Run The Jewels on Austin City Limits at 11:30PM.

Sunday at 5:30PM, see Part 4 of Great Lighthouses of Ireland. At 6:30PM, on the season finale of Poldark Season 4 on Masterpiece, Elizabeth hopes to persuade George that Valentine is his child, and Ross tries to mend things with Demelza. At 8PM on Grantchester, Will struggles with a decision that will determine his future. At 9PM on Sherlock on Masterpiece, long-buried secrets catch up with the Baker Street duo. Then at 10:30PM don't miss Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute. Narrated by HRH The Prince Of Wales, this film is a celebration of the Queen’s 90 years, with never before seen footage.
