solid vegetable oil
pkg plain yellow cake mix
tbsp butter, melted
large eggs
8-oz pkg cream cheese (room temp.)
14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
tbsp chocolate syrup
tsp sugar
½ c sour cream
tsp pure vanilla
6-oz pkg candy bars or chocolate chips, chopped

Directions:
Crust
Preheat over to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 13”x9” pan with vegetable shortening. Measure ½ c of the cake mix. Set aside for the filling. Place remaining cake mix, 1 egg and melted butter in mixing bowl. Mix for 2 minutes until it forms a dough ball. Press the dough ball into a greased pan with fingers, 1 inch up the sides of the pan. Set pan aside.

Filling
Refrigerate candy bars or chocolate chips 20-30 minutes before chopping. Place cream cheese, chocolate syrup, condensed milk in same mixing bowl you used for crust. Mix about 30 seconds until cheese and condensed milk are blended, then add reserved cake mix, 3 eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and all the chocolate candy (except ¼ c). Beat on medium speed for 1 minute or until thoroughly mixed. Pour into pan with the crust. Smooth evenly. Sprinkle ¼ c candy over top of filling. Bake for 30-45 minutes. Let cake cool for 45 minutes and place in refrigerator for 1 hour or over night. Cut cake and serve with chocolate on top.
