"The following charts were derived from data collected by the Public Policy Research Lab at the Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs, LSU. Audience members were given a survey before participating in the Louisiana Public Square program, and after the program. The charts compare the 'Before' and 'After' responses. The program, titled Economic Development, aired June 16, 2004." "Some of the more interesting findings: There seems to have been a trend toward more positive attitudes concerning the state government's role in dealing with certain economic development issues. Also, there was a trend away from 'Don't Know,' to taking a position one way or another on the issues presented." (click for notes)
