As you may be aware, this was the first legislative session in which term limits were in effect. Some say term limits are good idea that keeps public officials from staying in office too long and losing touch with the concerns of the average citizen. Please tell me whether you strongly favor, favor, oppose, or strongly oppose the following bill: The legislature passed a bill that revises income taxes for certain income earners. Currently, if your income is between $12,500 and $25,000, your tax rate is 4%. If you earn more than $25,000, your rate is 6%. Under the new law, the 4% rate is extended to those earning between $12,500 and $50,000. The 6% rate kicks in for incomes above $50,000.
