How do you get started?
Here's what you'll need: a computer, an Internet connection, an MP3 player (if you want to take it with you) and some free podcasting software. That's it!

For starters, download and install a free audio program that supports podcasting. iTunes is the most popular program available for both Macintosh and Windows computers.

What is podcasting?
Podcasting combines the terms iPod and broadcasting to describe a new kind of radio for your computer and MP3 player. Some have described podcasting as a kind of "TiVo for audio" on the Internet.

A podcast enables you to easily download audio files to your computer. Most podcasts are MP3 files. When you use podcasting software to "subscribe" to LPB's feed, it checks our site regularly and starts a download whenever it finds something new. Then you can upload the audio from your computer to any MP3 player. That means you can listen to our podcast episodes any time you like, wherever you like!
