Join LPB along with PBS Kids’ stars Maya and Miguel at the Zoo of Acadiana, 116 Lakeview Drive in Broussard, for "Boo at the Zoo" on Saturday, October 13th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Rain date: October 20th). Kids can come dressed in "non-scary" costumes and trick-or-treat amongst the animals. There will also be a costume contest, games and live entertainment. Bring your camera for pictures of Maya and Miguel—or the Grant’s Zebras by the same name! Kids Club members who bring the newsletter to the LPB booth will receive a special gift! Admission prices are $7.95 for adults, $4.50 for children and $6.95* for senior citizens--plus tax.
Don’t forget—you get 2-for-1 admission to the Zoo of Acadiana with your LPB MemberCard!

All members of the LPB Kids Club are invited to our Fall Fiesta with Maya and Miguel on Monday, October 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. at It’s My Party, 7872 Anselmo Lane in Baton Rouge.
Come play in the huge indoor playground that includes a 24-foot-high slide, 70-foot obstacle course and assorted bounce houses. Have your picture taken with Maya and Miguel, enjoy refreshments provided by Raising Cane’s, and take home a bag of LPB goodies!

It's a Big, Big World Day!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for It's a Big Big World Day on November 10th at the Children's Museum in Lake Charles! The kids made Habitat Mobiles, planted seeds to take home, and made Bug Habitats. Everyone enjoyed refreshments while watching episodes of It's a Big Big World, plus got to take home bags of It's a Big Big World goodies and more.
