The Festival Returns July 17-28
Louisiana Public Broadcasting is calling for entries for short films from local filmmakers. The films submitted will be nominated for inclusion in the sixth annual PBS Online Film Festival. The PBS Online Film Festival showcases powerful stories from filmmakers across the country and reaches an engaged and digitally savvy audience. The 2017 PBS Online Film Festival will take place July 17 - July 28, 2017.
“Each year Louisiana Public Broadcasting looks for the best Louisiana produced short films for inclusion in the PBS Online Film Festival. This national online film festival showcases some of the best short films in the country. “We are very proud of the past Louisiana entries that have been selected to the national festival, though our work with local filmmakers, and expect another great slate of submissions this year,” said Jason Viso, Director of Programming & Content at LPB.
All entries must be received by Monday, April 3, 2017.
