106 BAYOU BLOODY MARY

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Yields: 1 Drink

Comment:
While working in Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, Pete Petiot developed this legendary drink. Believed to be named for Mary Tudor, who massacred many Protestants in England, this hearty beverage is thought to be a hangover cure. In the bayou we’re apt to add a little extra heat to really get the blood pumping, so feel free to do the same.

Ingredients:
3 ounces water
1½ ounces vodka
½ cup tomato juice
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsps ground celery seed
½ tsp lemon juice
¼ tsp Louisiana hot sauce
2 tbsps beef bouillon or broth
pickled green beans for garnish

Method:
In an old-fashioned glass, combine all ingredients except beans. Mix well, garnish with green beans and serve.
