Official Rules

1. Tickets must be filled out completely and submitted with an Official Entry Card. No facsimiles of entry cards or tickets will be accepted. Additional copies of the rules can be obtained by writing to the address in rule 7 below.

2. Sweepstakes begins July 22, 2008 Entries must be received by midnight July 14, 2008 to qualify for the Early-Bird Drawing on July 16, 2008. All entries must be received by midnight July 31, 2008 to qualify for the Final Drawings. The Final Drawings will be conducted on-air during selected nights of the Summerfest 2008 Membership Campaign beginning in July. All entrants meeting the Early Bird deadline will also qualify for the chance to win one prize from the Final Drawings.

3. Other than the exception stated in Rule #2 above, no entrant or household shall be awarded more than one prize.

4. Drawings will be supervised by an independent auditing firm, certified public accounting firm or member of the Association of Government Accountants. Their decisions will be final. Employees and board members of Friends of LPB, the Louisiana Educational Television Authority, the Foundation for Excellence in Louisiana Public Broadcasting, and those living in the same household as such persons are not eligible to win.

5. A winner (and an alternate winner) will be selected for each prize in random drawings and need not be present to win. Each winner will be notified by registered mail and must claim the prize within 30 days of the mailing of such notice or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the alternate winner under the same notice and forfeiture rules. Any prize not claimed timely by either winner or alternate winner may be used in any other promotional activity conducted by Friends of LPB or the Louisiana Educational Television Authority.

6. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.

7. Except as otherwise stated in Rule #5 above, all prizes will be awarded. No donation or purchase is required to enter or win. The odds of winning one prize are determined by the number of entries. A list of prize winners may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to FLPB, 7733 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70810-1099.

8. No cash or prize substitutions or exchanges will be made. Cash values are for reference only. Any taxes required on any prizes are the sole responsibility of the ultimate winner of that prize. Grand Prize Winner is responsible for any and all taxes, title and license fees pertaining to the vehicle.

9. Friends of LPB is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
