who wanted to be free of the chains of British rule. The focus of
this lesson is not only military heroes but the everyday American
who fought valiantly for freedom.

Locate the major battles of the American Revolutionary War;
identify the major and minor contributors to the victory of the Americans during
the American Revolutionary War.
