The EPA Web site provides important information on health effects of overexposure to the sun as well as actions for sun protection including sun protection for children.

World Health Organization. The Web site provides an explanation of UV radiation, major health concerns (skin, eye, and immune system), health costs, and protective measures.

This Weather Channel: Site provides a U.S. UV index forecast.

The AccuWeather site is another hat forecasts the UV index for the U.S.
