publish a variety of works; 1, 3, 4
- CE-1VA-E5 working individually and as a group member in a
responsible and productive manner; 1, 5
Technology Performance Indicators:
Use technology tools (e.g., publishing, multimedia tools,
and word processing software) for individual and for simple
collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities
for a variety of audiences. (1,3)

Procedure:
- Using different Kids Search Engine, research moon celebrations
and give a report about what was found on each Search Engine.
- Using the students' results and the Extra
Activities sheet to plan the decorations for your party.
Divide students into groups to make the decorations.
- Using the students' results and the suggestions given
to plan the food. (Moon cakes
- make or buy; grapes, melons, oranges, hard-boiled eggs,
and other round food you can think of).
- Decide on a date and who to invite, and use the computer
to create invitations.
- Have a good time at the party!!
- Create a rubric if you would like to assess student work.
Don't forget to run the slide shows the students created!
